Laura Monzon-Storey

I have worked as a full-time Spanish interpreter for over 16 years across a wide range of subjects and settings. With targeted, assignment-specific preparation, I deliver high-quality interpreting in varied and complex contexts.

I trained as an interpreter in Auckland and Buenos Aires. I have worked at a variety of government and corporate events, and at more than 85 worship services for over 20 churches across the US. My most significant role to date has been working as a simultaneous interpreter, on site and remotely, for the global governing body of football, FIFA, over three consecutive years.

I have a solid understanding of what simultaneous interpreting entails, and of the settings and techniques involved. My focus is on delivering a product that audiences can clearly understand and rely on.

Mariela Amengual

For over a decade I have served as an English-Spanish language liaison, supporting organisations navigate the pressures of high-stakes meetings and international conferences.

I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation Studies in Argentina in 2005 and completed postgraduate studies in Intercultural Communication and Audiovisual Translation in New Zealand. I have interpreted simultaneously for elite programmes like the All-Blacks Performance Labs, the Women in Policing Conference, the Global Trade and Gender Arrangement, partnerships agreements with the EU and OACPS members, among others.

I aim to ensure that every message is delivered with the clarity, impact, and professional integrity that high-level communication demands. Whether in an interpreting booth or a boardroom, my goal is to ensure nothing is lost in translation, so that your mission can reach a global stage.
